Caught the end of Blackpool boat car 228 out for a test run. During the coronavirus restrictions, streetcars are not operated in revenue service, but supervisors may bring out selected cars on occasion for testing or training. The first reason I named this page First of the Series is because car 228 is the first of the boat cars (not counting a visit in the 1970s by car 226), then 233. Locations are on outer Church Street and on San Jose Avenue. Also notice New Orleans car 952 peeking out of Cameron Beach Yard shed; I haven't photographed this since 2010.

Afterward were visits to Burlingame and Daly City via El Camino Real. This was tracking SamTrans New Flyer 800, the first of that series, on route ECR northbound. En route I came across SamTrans Gillig 600, another first of the series. There's a concentration of bus and trolley coach photos on San Jose Ave. in Daly City.

Note the photos of the former San Francisco Municipal Railway route 40 tracks; the route ran from 5th and Market Sts. to downtown San Mateo. The ex Market St. Railway line was discontinued in 1949. Amazingly, tracks in the intersection of El Camino Real and Valley St. in Daly City still exist in 2020.

Nikon D3500 yielded 177 photos with one cropped version added.
