Car 162 is a "Type B" streetcar built in 1914 by Jewett Car Company of Newark, Ohio. It is one of 125 cars in the class (44-168) that includes sister car 130. Muni ran 162 throughout its transportation network until the car's sale in 1958 to the Orange Empire Railway Museum. Market Street Railway and Muni bought the car back from OERM in 2002 and restored it with the green and cream "wings" livery for operation beginning in 2009.
