Blackpool boat car 233 arrived at San Francisco in October 2013. Muni shop forces with encouragement from Market Street Railway did a great job rushing the car into operable condition for the heritage transit weekend of November 2-3, 2013. There it ran as a demonstrator to announce its future use as a passenger car.
