Our Lady of Peace Church is located at 2800 Mission College Boulevard in Santa Clara, in the US 101 (Bayshore Freeway) - Great America Pkwy. intersection. This church is easy to find because its most distinguishing feature is the shrine, a thirty-two foot high sculpture by Charles C. Parks of mother Mary. She is the central focus of a small park with circular walkway furnished with the Stations of the Cross. Because the shrine is dedicated to peace, I find this beautiful park an excellent place to meditate.

The church is open 24 hours a day with perpetual adoration of Jesus (since August 15, 1976) and masses offered. A Family Learning Center next to the rectory offers catechism, a library, and a gift shop.

Church of Our Lady of Peace. When I took this picture on May 5, 2009, the main building was closed for maintenance until 11 a.m (note the yellow rope across the doors). Perpetual adoration was held in an adjacent building. One new photo added 05/05/09.
