Today was the premiere of Monterey-Salinas Transit route 59, Salinas to Gilroy. Four weekday trips connect
to Caltrain, VTA, and County Express. I showed up for the second southbound trip and ended up staying for
a dedication ceremony. Among the dignitaries who spoke were Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren and Speaker of the Assembly
Robert Rivas. After the dedication bus, Gillig electric 2201, departed south, I began driving across on the 152
to take the I-5 corridor north. I stopped at Patterson a while to get StanRTA buses, made a stop at Stockton for
commuter bus 150 from BART, and arrived at my hotel in Davis.
San Benito County Express, VTA, Greyhound, and Amtrak Coast Starlight train 11 are also included.
Nikon D5600 and Samsung Galaxy A54 5G cameras yielded 185 photos including a cropped version.
