The main reason for this trip to Oklahoma, made with bonus points earned from Southwest,
was to visit Norman to see the statue of native son James Garner, star of Maverick (pictured
thusly attired) and The Rockford Files. I did a few midday pictures, but the sun was directly behind Jim.
Returned later to Main Street for some pictures at sunset; the photos with the Samsung phone
are especially good.
Also located the Jeffrey, the Frog Prince statue for some decent shots. He was also facing away
from the sun, so I tried for sunset shots with him too.
Embark Norman and CART (Campus Area Rapid Transit) buses are included in these shots.
The meals: Ribs at Van's Pig Stand, and Golden Palace Chinese buffet.
