The next part of my Southern California vacation is this mystery trip into Los Angeles County.
My primary goal was LA Metro New Flyer 6068, decorated for the 75th anniversary of Pride,
operating route 210 from Hollywood to Redondo Beach via Crenshaw Blvd. I caught up with it
at three locations southbound and three northbound. The final photo spot was at Wilshire Blvd.
east of Crenshaw. Other buses are included, among them Santa Monica Big Blue Bus and
Metro Rapid red buses. You can see shots of the infamous SpaceX company along Crenshaw near
the airport.
I visited Pico and Rimpau to see some buses there. This is the former LA Railways end of the
line for PCC streetcars; buses still use the intersection for layover.
Stopped by the Television Academy in North Hollywood. There is the Hall of Fame Garden,
sculptures and statues of many people so honored.
A few photos of the sculpture at the entrance to Johnny Carson Park in Burbank, followed
by a few bus photos.
Spent the night in north Los Angeles. Little bit more buses in Pacoima at day's end.
